Dear Mr. President,
The cost of prescription drugs in the United States is far too high.
Americans should not have to choose between paying for medicine on the one
hand and affording food, rent, or our children's education on the other.
The federal government should adopt a bulk purchasing pool that has the
most
negotiating leverage with pharmaceutical companies to get all Americans the
same prices as Canadians. Americans should not have to go to Canada or
Mexico to save 60% on their prescription drugs.
Please work with Congress to find a low cost, bulk purchasing solution
to
the pharmaceutical crisis in America.
